The University of Iowa's fall career fair provides myriad opportunities for hundreds of UI students and alumni. We followed Liz Skogerboe, a senior sociology major from Spirit Lake, as she negotiated the packed Iowa Memorial Union to speak with potential employers. Video by Matthew Jansen.

Nearly 1,500 University of Iowa students and alumni attended the annual fall career fair Sept. 24 that featured more than 170 organizations looking to hire full-time employees and interns.

Liz Skogerboe was one of those attendees. A senior sociology major from Spirit Lake, she negotiated the packed Iowa Memorial Union and dropped off résumés with many potential employers. This is the story of her day at the fair.

The Pomerantz Career Center’s spring career fair will be held Feb. 24, 2016, in the IMU.
