Projects and competitions help you use academic knowledge to build up skills, teamwork, and networks.  They are a great way to build your resume and can take a variable amount of time, perfect for students who are unable to complete a full-time internship.

Before participating, always read the fine print regarding intellectual property for any projects or competitions. Student Legal Services can help review contracts.  International students should contact ISSS regarding whether the individual project or competition is eligible for CPT.
