Zach graduated from Iowa with a degree in Economics and a certificate in Sustainability in the spring of 2013. Zach held various positions within the Iowa City community to help contribute to a better environment and community.

Matthew graduated from Iowa in the spring of 2014 with a Finance degree from the Tippie College of Business. Matt thanks the Career Leadership Academy for increasing his verbal and written communication skills and well as teamwork skills.

Hannah Maher graduated from the University of Iowa in May, 2015 with a degree in Chemistry. She was a member of the University of Iowa’s Swimming and Diving Team and traveled to Xicotepec, Mexico to perform a service learning project with other selected CLA members!

Sarah graduated from the University of Iowa in 2014 with a degree in Management and Organizations as well as Human Resource Management and a Leadership Studies Certificate.

Kyle graduated from the University of Iowa as well as the Career Leadership Academy in the spring of 2015. He double majored in Finance and Management with an Entrepreneurial Emphasis. Kyle was the spring 2015, Marvin A.

Ben graduated the University of Iowa as well as the Career Leadership Academy in May, 2013. Ben double majored in Interdepartmental Business Studies and English, and also went on to get his certificate in Entrepreneurial Management. Ben won the Marvin A.

Bailey is both a graduate of the Career Leadership Academy and The University of Iowa. During her time at Iowa she became heavily involved in UI Dance Marathon, was a Hawkeye Guide, and an OnIowa Leader! Bailey received her degree in nursing from the University of Iowa.

Ally is currently a junior at the University of Iowa, majoring in Accounting, with a minor in Finance. She is a current member of the University of Iowa’s Women’s Basketball Team and continues to put her leadership skills to play both on and off the court.

Joining the Career Leadership Academy has been one of the best decisions I made in my freshman year. I have experienced personal and career growth through all four phases.

Brad Maxwell

My biggest success is a tie between being a national finalist for the Hearst Journalism Award and winning an Upper-Midwest student Emmy. Both of these awards come from a series of news reports I have completed through my work at Daily Iowan TV.
