Student-Athlete Academic Services Tutoring Job Description Student-Athlete Academic Services is currently looking to fill tutoring positions for the Summer and Fall 2024 semesters (and potentially beyond). We are looking for tutors or teachers who may have obtained a grade of a “B” or higher in the courses below and feel comfortable tutoring them. Our tutors provide one-on-one and small group tutoring instruction. Interested candidates are asked to send a copy of their resume and transcripts to athletic-tutoring@uiowa.edu. The pay rate for this position is contingent on education and prior tutoring/teaching experience, however, no previous tutoring experience is required. New hires may be required to attend mandatory tutor trainings. Interior DesignerDesign & Construction Impact & Responsibilities: Provides interior design and planning services including developing, recommending, and approving selections of furniture, floor, wall, ceiling, and window coverings, paint colors, materials, signage, and decorative lighting design required for new construction, building renovation, and facility refurbishing projects; prepares and presents program, preliminary, and final layouts for review and approval; monitors projects to ensure adherence to planned design and budget allowances; performs and coordinates space planning studies with campus architectural, engineering, and landscape staff; and surveys and categorizes existing usable furnishings according to eventual use.Requirements: Bachelor's degree in interior design or related field plus at least one year of experience or an associate's degree in interior design plus at least four years of experience required. Spring 2024 graduates will be considered. Night Shuttle Van Driver
