Investigate complaints. Research and decision-making skills utilized in completing work. Document field findings in written reports and work to ensure environmental compliance is achieved.Job Responsibilities may include but are not limited to the following:   Performs inspections and evaluations of complex solid and hazardous waste facilities to determine compliance with federal and state environmental statutes and regulations. Compiles and analyzes inspection and technical data collected during inspections, interprets findings, and prepares inspection or other technical reports, correspondence, and support documentation as needed. Submit reports through the district supervisor within 30 calendar days of initial inspection. Provide facility with inspection results upon completion of inspection or in writing within 7 calendar days. Where appropriate, telephonic notification of inspection results may be used.
