The Center supports GNYHA member hospitals on community health equity issues. Responsibilities: Research and identify best practice approaches for hospital use in conducting community health improvement activities, including: 1) community and public health practices and engagement strategies 2) the use of metrics to measure success of community health initiatives 3) reporting on hospital community health activities to community leaders, policymakers, and regulatory agencies, and 4) community violence prevention interventions, including human trafficking and domestic violence.
